Hazel

Hazel has been in the business since the swinging sixties, though to look at her she hardly seems old enough.  During the late sixties she was found amongst friends playing regular pub gigs ant charity shows (as she puts it "just messing about really").

Moving into the early seventies she became part of a duo playing in restaurants during the weekends, then about the mid seventies she was finally noticed and entered the big time with a group called CYCLONE (a six piece band playing social clubs, barn dances and weddings in the Devon and Cornwall area). It was about this time that she also started work at Plymouth Sound Radio, writing jingles for their station and performing a country show with Cyclone on air.  Towards the end of the seventies she performed with another band called REVUE, this was with our very own Bass player Jerry, again working those social clubs.

Into the eighties and we find our blushing heroin at the front of another group, COUNTRY STYLE, and later BLUEBERRY BUCKLE, playing country events around Devon and Cornwall.

We then find ourselves in the mid nineties, where our fair vocalist started a Cajun band with her Husband Bill (our drummer). They performed at venues marked out by agents and councils as well as those, by now, obvious social clubs.  Venues included SOUNDWAVES on Plymouth Hoe.  This band was of course LE BAND with the original line-up.

When Mark joined, the sound of the band changed somewhat, and as Hazel stated, "we do country/cajun, popular, rock&roll, ballads, in fact everything except punk 'cos I don't like punk"... a brave statement that no doubt will go down well with our green haired brothers... NOT.
