Bill

Playing the Hayman Kit (badly), Bill started his musical destruction around 1958 playing Skiffle and Rock & Roll for a group called the ROCKITES, from here he started a Blue Hawaiian band called WAIKIKI which ran for six years. During this time he was called upon to cover the drum parts in a couple of Jazz bands.

Later he resumed his Rock & Roll drumming and mixed in a bit of popular music coverage as well, with a group called the CITY STEEL BAND. This kept him occupied for another eight years before he joined a Country & Western band... this he hated (I don't like Country & Western, its boring" - Bill).

He helped create LE BAND with Hazel (wife), Jerry (Bass), Malcolm "Woody" Woodhead (Fiddle) and tried various guitarists until finally settling with John (Lead).

He once skulked off to do an eight day tour of Wales with his old band the Rockites.

He has been seen beating his skins at hotels, social clubs and even prestigious venues like Dartmouth Royal Naval College, R.M. Exmouth senior rates mess, HMS Drake senior rates mess and Mount Batten RAF senior rates mess.

His favourite music:- any as long as it is played well

Main Hates:- Disco's, Karaoke, Backing tapes and loud uncontrolled musicians... KEEP MUSIC LIVE!

His favourite drummer of all time:- Steve Loye with his arm in a sling.
