Since his 1969 solo album "Magician" was re-released in 2011 by specialist label Sunbeam Records, Andy Leigh (ex-Matthews Southern Comfort and Spooky Tooth) has been working with respected local musicians Dave Ahern, Paul Smith and John Lang on a combo - STOCKWOOD - with a highly varied repertoire and a mature, sophisticated approach to its music. They have already developed and continue to expand a wide range of material including folk, jazz, blues, latin and rock-based numbers, together with some of Andy’s own songs from the Magician album and the inevitable and ever-popular Matthews Southern Comfort-arranged Joni Mitchell classic "Woodstock", an international chart-topper in 1970.
